It is applications that drive national productivity, not bandwidth.  The apps contributing the greatest productivity use the lowest bandwidth.

The NAN integrates the following four purposes to deliver exponential productivity:

  • information distribution
  • communication via devices and internet
  • content management for multiple communities of common interest (social, industry and political structures)
  • collaboration applications
  • personal
  • enterprise

Content functions include other Central Brains including: Equity Market 4.0, Health Industry 3.0 plus patient health record, Democracy 3.0 and others. The integration of NAN 3.0 into a global network creates NAN 4.0, or a Global Application Network (GAN).
